this is my French version to the Spanish Sangria, only much more simpler. I have to be honest, I’m not a huge fan of the red Lillet but the white Lillet… I love!
Lillet is a French Aperitif Wine that’s traditionally served before a meal to stimulate your palate. marinading Lillet with berries takes this French wine to a whole new level. whether enjoying a glass before dinner or enjoying during the afternoon while at the beach, its a Refreshing, Fruity, Light and a very Beautiful cocktail.
if any remaining fruit is left over, add to a bowl with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Its awesome!

French Sangria

1 cup hulled, quartered strawberries
1/2 cup blueberries
6 ounces golden raspberries (can substitute for red raspberries)
1 (750 ml) Lillet white
place all the berries into a large glass pitcher and pour Lillet over the berries. stir. cover and refrigerate to marinade, 6 hours to overnight.
fill 4 wine glasses with ice, divide and pour Lillet among the glasses. garnish with plenty of fruit.
prep time: 5 minutes
marinade time: 6 hours – overnight
serves: 4
